The evolution of 'The Argument'

Here are some photo's that show the development of a painting that ended up being titled 'The Argument' and was shown in my recent show 'London Paintings' at Madame Lillie's in London.





I took the first two photos with a mobile phone camera; easy to do if one remembers and I think these photos came out quite well. I'm going to try to remember to do this in future whenever I'm doing a complex work. Sometimes I forget exactly how I did paint a picture, what pigments I used and so on. Perhaps in future the camera on my phone will help me to remember...
